Staff Resources
Our founders left respected positions at Arthur D. Little Inc., one of the world's largest
and most well-known management consulting firms, to start Consulting
Resources Corporation in 1981. In keeping with these high standards,
our staff members typically have one or more degrees in the physical
or social sciences, as well as in business or in other relevant
areas. On the basis of this training, as well as additional
experience, we are able to bring both modern business practice and
scientific methodology to bear on the solution of complex problems.
We excel at providing consulting services that benefit from the
marriage of modern management skills with industry expertise.
Our distinctive competence is a unique ability to apply both
technical and management expertise to our analysis of client
problems and opportunities. This expertise has developed from
extensive previous experience in dealing with domestic and
international issues requiring a knowledge of people, technology,
economics and business policy. Because the creative and informed
judgments required by our clients must often be gleaned from
information that is limited or difficult to obtain, our staff
members have developed superior information gathering techniques and
creative analytical approaches.
Business Network
In addition to our own capabilities, when necessary, we draw on the
talents of other professionals who provide specialized expertise not
covered by our staff. This is made possible by our extensive
international network of affiliates and
contacts that has been assembled throughout our decades of work
as consultants.
Facilities
Consulting Resources' Lexington, Massachusetts facilities include an
extensive, specialized business and industrial research library. In
addition to these resources, we have computerized literature search
capabilities, and access to numerous management and technical
libraries in the Boston area, such as those of Harvard University
and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as countless
electronic libraries accessible through the Internet.
