Consulting Resources Corporation
Quality Service Since 1981
Brief descriptions of our functional expertise are provided below for six key areas of professional activity:
Business Research and
Analysis
We are well-qualified to carry out worldwide business research
and analysis relating to a wide variety of products. This work
often begins with a thorough characterization of current or
expected markets for these products in terms of size, growth,
distribution, end-use patterns, supply and demand, and
competitive position. In most cases, we are also involved in
the process of analyzing trends in the business environment,
assessing the strengths and weaknesses of our clients and/or
their competitors, and formulating specific recommendations for
action steps designed to achieve client objectives.
Executive Search
For a number of clients, our work on a consulting assignment has
led to our having an in-depth understanding of the unique skills
that are required to successfully run a company, manage a
division, or otherwise contribute to the success of a business.
Our extensive list of worldwide contacts is an especially
valuable resource for the resulting executive search services we
provide.
Marketing
Many times our clients are interested in improving their marketing of one or more of the products or services they offer. We often carry out specific analyses involving marketing research, product positioning, and marketing strategy development, thus promoting a strong market presence for our clients. By providing our clients with improved marketing tools, we are able to help them maximize the sales of their products or services.
New Product
Evaluation
We are frequently asked to evaluate the market potential for a
new product or process that has been generated
through client R&D efforts, or through a variety of other
routes. Often these assignments include the development of
appropriate market entry strategies for the new product, process
or service.
Project Analysis
Our staff has conducted a large number of market and
techno-economic evaluations to determine the feasibility of
specific projects. These assignments often include not only
market and technology assessments, but also
reviews of financing, design and proposed engineering plans. In
many cases these studies are used by potential investors who
wish to have an independent view of their probable return on
investment and financial exposure.
Strategic Planning
On the basis of the independent information developed as part of
one or more of the activities described above, as well as
information supplied by our clients, we are often asked to
assist in client planning efforts. This work may include
leading a strategic planning session, benchmarking client versus
competitor activities, doing a PATHTM
Analysis, or providing other assistance with the development
of a strategic plan.
